What RankKit SEO's AI can do

RankKit SEO uses the AI provider you connect in RankKit SEO → Settings → AI provider to write and explain SEO work for you: titles, meta descriptions, keyword ideas, alt text, content briefs and full drafts. It uses your own key, so there are no credits to buy. If you have not added a key yet, start with Add your AI provider key.

AI never publishes anything on its own. Suggestions wait for you to pick one, drafts are saved as drafts, and every change AI applies is recorded in the Change Log where you can undo it.

Using AI in the editor

In the block editor, click the RankKit SEO button in the editor toolbar to open the RankKit SEO panel:

1. Save the post at least once. Suggest with AI reads the saved content, so it asks you to "Save the post first." on a new post.
2. In General, under SEO Title or Meta Description, click Suggest with AI and pick one of the three suggestions. You can still edit it.
3. Under Focus keywords, click Suggest with AI to get keyword ideas.
4. In Analysis, use the AI Assistant to fill in the title, description and keywords at once, or to review the content. See AI assistant in the editor.
5. In the checklist under Analysis, click Explain next to a check to see why it matters and how to fix it.
6. In Write with AI, write a complete article for the post. See Write a post with AI in the editor.

How AI writes

• Your language. AI writes in the language of the page content.
• Your tone. The Writing tone setting (default "clear, specific and helpful") is applied to every request.
• No made-up facts. RankKit SEO instructs the model not to invent facts, prices, statistics or claims that are not in your content, and to avoid clickbait, all caps and emoji. Still review what it writes before you publish.

Who can use AI

AI features are available to users with the AI tools permission. By default that is editors, authors and contributors as well as administrators. Change it in the Role manager.

FAQ

Does AI cost anything?

RankKit SEO charges nothing for AI. Your provider bills you for the requests you make with your key, at their prices. A local model through Ollama or LM Studio is free to run. The Daily request limit caps how many requests RankKit SEO sends per day; see AI usage limits, costs and privacy.

Which AI features need RankKit SEO Pro?

Bulk generation, the FAQ generator, AI internal linking, automatic metadata on publish, AI visibility, AI insights, refresh briefs and focus page diagnosis. Everything marked Free in the table works without a license.

Can I undo something AI changed?

Yes. Changes AI applies are logged in the Change Log. Bulk runs are logged as one batch, so you can revert all of them with one click.
