Terms of service

These terms apply to the RankKit SEO WordPress plugin (the free edition and RankKit SEO Pro), to rankkitseo.site and to the support we provide. By downloading, installing or buying RankKit SEO you agree to them. If you are agreeing for a company, you confirm you can bind that company.

1. Who we are

RankKit SEO ("RankKit SEO", "we", "us") makes the RankKit SEO plugin. You can reach us at hello@rankkitseo.site.

2. The software license

RankKit SEO and RankKit SEO Pro are free software, licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later. The GPL gives you the right to use, study, change and share the code. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the GPL.

A Pro license is not a license to the code. It is a subscription to services: access to Pro downloads, automatic updates, and support, for the number of sites and the period you bought.

3. Free edition

The free edition is available at no cost from rankkitseo.site, and from WordPress.org once its listing there is approved, for any number of sites, with no time limit. It is supported by email at hello@rankkitseo.site (and, once listed, the WordPress.org support forum) on a best-effort basis.

4. Pro licenses

  • Sites. Each license covers the number of production sites shown on the plan you bought (1, 5 or unlimited). Local development sites (for example localhost, *.test and *.local addresses) do not count. You can move a license to another site at any time by deactivating it on the old one.
  • Annual plans include updates and support for one year and renew automatically each year at the price shown at checkout, unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel any time from your account or the email receipt; cancelling stops future renewals and does not delete anything on your site.
  • Lifetime plans include updates and support for as long as we develop RankKit SEO Pro, with no renewal.
  • When a license ends (expiry, cancellation or refund), Pro features switch off and RankKit SEO keeps working as the free edition. Your SEO data, titles, meta, redirects and settings stay on your site.
  • Free trial. The 14-day trial needs no card and does not turn into a paid plan unless you choose to buy.
  • You may not share license keys publicly, resell them, or use one license on more sites than it covers.

5. Payments

Orders are processed by our reseller and merchant of record, Freemius, Inc., which handles payment, invoicing and sales tax or VAT. Your purchase is also subject to the Freemius terms. Prices are in US dollars and may change; a change never affects a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a renewal at a new price.

6. Refunds

Every purchase has a 14-day money-back guarantee. See the refund policy.

7. AI features and third-party services

RankKit SEO connects only to the services you set up yourself: AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, OpenRouter or a self-hosted, OpenAI-compatible server), Google Search Console and Google Analytics, and IndexNow. These connections use your own keys and accounts, go directly from your site to the provider, and are covered by that provider's terms and pricing. We do not resell AI usage and do not see your keys.

AI output can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing what AI features and AI agents produce before you publish it. RankKit SEO helps you do that with dry runs, an approval queue and a change history you can undo, but the final decision is yours.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use RankKit SEO or rankkitseo.site to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to send spam, or to attack, overload or probe our systems or anyone else's. We may suspend accounts or licenses used this way.

9. Support

Pro support is by email at hello@rankkitseo.site during the license period. We aim to reply within one business day. Support covers installing, configuring and using RankKit SEO and fixing bugs in it; it does not cover custom development or problems caused by other plugins, themes or hosting, though we will always try to point you the right way.

10. No guarantee of rankings

Search engines and AI assistants decide rankings and citations on their own. RankKit SEO helps you get the technical SEO right, but we cannot promise any ranking, traffic, citation or revenue result.

11. Warranty and liability

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, as the GPL states. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or lost rankings, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for RankKit SEO in the 12 months before the claim. Keep backups of your site, as you would with any plugin. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

12. Your account

Keep your rankkitseo.site login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can ask us to close your account at any time.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as RankKit SEO changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change materially affects paying customers, we will email them before it takes effect.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
