- rankkit_seo_session: keeps you signed in and remembers form state between pages. Essential. Expires after 2 hours of inactivity.
- XSRF-TOKEN: protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Essential. Same lifetime as the session.
- remember_web_*: set only if you tick "Remember me" when signing in. Keeps you signed in for longer.
- sidebar_state: remembers whether the sidebar in your account is open. Functional. Your light or dark mode choice is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie.
Checkout
When you open the checkout, the payment form is loaded from our reseller Freemius, which sets its own cookies to process the payment securely and prevent fraud. See the Freemius privacy policy.
The RankKit SEO plugin
The RankKit SEO plugin does not set cookies for your visitors. If you add a Google Analytics measurement ID in the plugin, the Google tag on your site sets Google's cookies, and you are responsible for any consent your visitors' laws require.
