AI insights reads your SEO numbers for a period, compares them with the period before, and writes a short report: the single most important change, what moved and why it matters, and the actions that will help most. It saves you from opening five reports and joining the dots yourself.
It runs on your own AI provider, and only when you click Generate insight. Each insight is one AI request.
Before you start
- Add your AI provider key in RankKit SEO → Settings → AI provider.
- Connect at least one data source. The more RankKit SEO has, the better the insight:
- Search Console (clicks, impressions, position, rising and falling queries, top pages)
- GA4 (sessions and visits from AI assistants)
- AI crawler tracking (on by default)
- A site audit (your SEO health score and top issues)
- The rank tracker (best and worst movers)
- A page speed test of your home page
Generate an insight
- Go to RankKit SEO → Analytics → AI insights.
- Choose the period: 7 days, 28 days (default) or 90 days.
- Check the Trends card. It shows the raw changes versus the period before, without AI: for example Google clicks, Impressions, Average position, Sessions, Visits from AI assistants, AI crawler visits and SEO health score, depending on what's connected.
- Click Generate insight. When it is done, RankKit SEO shows New insight ready and the insight appears below.
Generating is for administrators. Other users with the Analytics permission can read the insights.
What an insight contains
- Headline: the most important change, in one sentence, with the period and when it was generated.
- Summary: two or three sentences on the overall picture.
- What changed: three to six notable changes, each citing the numbers, marked as good, bad or neutral.
- Recommended actions: three to five actions ranked by impact, each with a reason and a priority (high, medium or low).
The AI only sees the numbers RankKit SEO collected. Treat its suggestions as a starting point and check them against the reports, especially when a change is small.

FAQ
Does AI insights run automatically?
No. It only runs when someone clicks Generate insight or an AI agent asks for it, so it never uses your AI budget in the background.
What data is sent to my AI provider?
The aggregated numbers for the period: totals and changes, the top rising and falling queries, top pages, audit score and top issue titles, rank movers and home page speed metrics, plus your site name and URL. Requests go straight from your site to your provider.
Why are there no trends?
RankKit SEO has no data to compare yet. Connect Google, run an audit or turn on AI crawler tracking, then come back.
