The bulk SEO editor

The bulk SEO editor shows every post, page and product in one table with its SEO title, meta description, focus keyword and score. It is the fastest way to fill gaps across a site, check what each page outputs today, and fix duplicate titles and descriptions without opening posts one by one.

Go to RankKit SEO → Content. The page has two tabs: SEO editor and Duplicate titles & descriptions. The AI writer has its own page, RankKit SEO → AI Writer.

Edit SEO in the table

The SEO editor tab lists your content with these columns:

Column	What it shows
Page	The post title, with an icon link (View) to the live page.
SEO title	The custom SEO title. An empty field shows the title output today as a grey placeholder.
Meta description	The custom meta description, with the same placeholder behavior.
Focus keyword	The post's focus keywords, comma-separated. The first one is the main keyword.
Score	The content analysis score, 0 to 100. See Content analysis checks.

To edit, click into a field, change the text and click Save on that row.

"Placeholders show what is output today. Leave a field empty to keep the default template." Emptying a field and saving goes back to the template from Settings → Content types.

Find what needs work

Use the toolbar to narrow the list:

• Search posts… to find posts by title.
• A content type filter (All content types, Posts, Pages, and so on).
• A status filter: Show everything, Missing custom title, Missing description, Missing focus keyword or Missing featured image.

For example, choose Missing description to work through every page that still relies on the excerpt.

Suggestions with AI

With an AI provider set up, click the sparkle icon (Suggest with AI) next to a title or description. It opens AI title suggestions or AI description suggestions with three options for that post. Pick one, then click Save.

Duplicate titles and descriptions

Pages with the same title or description compete with each other in search. The Duplicate titles & descriptions tab finds them.

1. Open Duplicate titles & descriptions.
2. Choose Duplicate titles or Duplicate meta descriptions. Each shows how many groups were found.
3. In each group, give each page its own text in Write a unique SEO title or Write a unique meta description.
4. Click Save. You see "Saved. Undo it from the Change Log."

The check uses the title and description each page actually outputs, including templates, so two pages that both fall back to the same template text are caught too. It covers up to 2,000 published pages and skips pages set to noindex. When there are none left you see "Every SEO title is unique" or "Every meta description is unique".

With RankKit SEO Pro

Select several rows (or Select all) and click AI titles or AI descriptions to write them all at once with AI. RankKit SEO takes a backup first and records the run as one Change Log batch. FAQ

Who can use the bulk SEO editor?

Users with the SEO fields permission, which by default includes editors, authors and contributors. They only see and edit posts WordPress lets them edit. See Role manager.

Can I edit category and tag SEO here?

No. The table lists posts, pages and custom post types. Edit terms on their own screens; see SEO for categories, tags and taxonomies.

Can I export the table to a spreadsheet?

Not from this page. To move SEO data between sites, use RankKit SEO → Tools → Export & import, which exports the SEO fields of every post and term as JSON. See Backups, export and import settings.
