The Dashboard and SEO health score

What the RankKit SEO Dashboard shows: the 0 to 100 SEO health score, stat tiles, top issues, modules, recent changes and agent activity.

The Dashboard is the first page under RankKit SEO. It shows your site's SEO health at a glance: one score, the issues that matter most, what changed recently and what AI agents have been doing. Open it with RankKit SEO → Dashboard.

Everyone who can edit posts can see the Dashboard. Some parts, such as the module switches, are for administrators only.

SEO health

The SEO health card shows a score from 0 to 100 in a ring, with a grade and a bar for each audit category. Under it you see how many pages were checked and when.

The score comes from the site audit. The first time, click Run your first audit. The audit reads your settings and content directly instead of crawling the site, so it takes seconds, not hours. After that, click Re-run whenever you want a fresh score, for example after fixing a batch of issues.

Stat tiles

Tile What it shows
Published pages How many published items the site has, with a count per content type.
Issues found The number of audit issues, with how many are critical.
AI requests today AI requests used today against your daily limit, for example 12 / 200. Shows Not set up until you add an AI key.
Agent access Whether AI agents can connect (On or Off), and whether their writes need your approval or apply straight away (still revertable).

Top issues

Top issues lists the six most important issues from the latest audit. Most have a Fix it button that changes the setting for you. Click All issues to open the full audit. Start with anything marked Critical.

Modules

The Modules card turns whole features on and off. Only what you turn on runs. Only administrators can flip the switches; other users see them greyed out. See Turn modules on and off for what each one does and its default.

Recent changes

Recent changes shows the latest SEO edits, each with a badge for where it came from: AI agent, Ability, AI, Editor, Bulk edit, Import or Automatic. Changes still waiting for approval show Pending; undone ones show Reverted. Click Change Log to see the full history and undo anything. See The Change Log.

Agent activity

Agent activity lists the latest tool calls from AI agents: which tool, which agent and when. Click AI Agents for the full activity list. See Monitor what agents do.

At the bottom you'll find links to your Sitemap (/wp-sitemap.xml), robots.txt and llms.txt, so you can check what search engines and AI tools see.

Notices on the Dashboard

Notice Meaning What to do
Search engines are blocked on this site Settings → Reading → Discourage search engines from indexing this site is ticked. Search engines are asked not to index anything, and XML sitemaps are turned off. Click Fix, untick the box and save.
N SEO changes are waiting for your approval AI agents proposed edits. Nothing goes live until you approve it. Click Review to open the Change Log.

The WordPress dashboard widget

RankKit SEO can also add a small Website insights (RankKit SEO) widget to the main WordPress dashboard. It's off by default. Turn on the Dashboard widget module to show it.

The widget shows your SEO health score, Google clicks over 28 days, visits from AI assistants (when Google is connected), AI crawler visits, home page speed on mobile and your top issues, with an Open RankKit SEO button. Administrators also see a Connect Google button if Google isn't connected yet, and the number of changes waiting for approval. Anyone who can edit posts sees the widget.

FAQ

Why does my health score still show an old result?

The score updates when an audit runs. Click Re-run on the Dashboard or Run again on the Site Audit page. With RankKit SEO Pro you can also schedule a weekly audit.

What counts as a "critical" issue?

Each audit check has a severity: Critical, Warning or Notice. Fix critical issues first. One example is search engines being blocked, which stops anything on the site from being indexed. See Every site audit check explained.

Why are the module switches greyed out?

Only administrators can turn modules on and off. On the free plan, the Pro modules (404 monitor and AI referral revenue) are also greyed out and marked PRO.
