The free site audit shows the result of your latest run. Audit history keeps every run, so you can see whether your SEO health is going up or down, which issues are new and which you fixed. A weekly scheduled audit keeps the history filling in without you clicking anything.

It is the easiest way to show a client, or yourself, that the work is paying off, and to catch a plugin update or content change that quietly broke something.

See your history

Go to RankKit SEO → Site Audit → History.

  • SEO health over time charts your score, one point per day (the latest run that day). It appears once you have runs on at least two days.
  • Since the previous run compares your latest run with the one before: New issues, issues Fixed, and issues now Affecting more pages or Affecting fewer pages (with the old and new counts).
  • The Runs table lists your 30 most recent runs with When it ran, the Score, the Change from the run before, the score of each category and the total number of Issues. Runs from the weekly schedule have a scheduled badge.

Every audit you run by hand is recorded. Runs within ten minutes of the previous one replace it, so clicking Run again a few times while you fix things does not flood the history. RankKit SEO keeps the last 156 runs (three years of weekly audits).

If the history is empty you see No audits recorded yet. Run the audit from the Site audit tab, and every run from then on is kept.

Run the audit every week

  1. On the History tab, find Scheduled audits.
  2. Turn on Run the audit every week (off by default).

RankKit SEO confirms with Weekly audits are on, and the toggle shows the date of the next run. The first scheduled run happens about an hour after you turn it on, then once a week. Scheduled runs use WP-Cron, so they need some traffic to your site (or a real cron job) to run on time.

Combine it with the email report to get the score and its change in your inbox.

FAQ

Does a scheduled audit change anything on my site?

No. It only runs the checks and records the result. Fixes only happen when you, or an AI agent you connected, apply them.

What happens to my history if I stop using Pro?

The history is not shown on the free plan, and scheduled audits stop. You can still run the audit by hand on the Site audit tab.

Can an AI agent read the history?

Yes. Connected agents can use the audit_history tool on RankKit SEO Pro, for example to report on progress since last month.
